Carriers Stakeholder Commitments >  >
  1. Provide your agents with real-time functionality and continue to expand the transactions, lines of business, and vendors where you offer Real Time.
  2. Provide your agents with regular reports on your new real-time transactions by vendor. Keep ACTtech.org and ACORD’s OARS database up-to-date with your new real-time functionality and your ACORD XML standards implementations and certifications.
  3. Continuously review your real-time implementations to increase their speed, eliminate data entry, and streamline the workflow, so that agents get an improved experience compared to the carrier’s website. Meet at regular intervals with the specific vendors and user groups to discuss results and ways the overall agent experience with the real-time implementation can be improved.
  4. Establish an agent automation committee with active interface agents to help prioritize and implement interface transactions and real-time functionality.
  5. Partner with vendors to provide agencies with real-time implementation sessions and in-house agency training and with user groups for agent training and communication opportunities.
  6. Provide agencies with a responsive help desk that is knowledgeable with regard to Real Time.
  7. Inform your marketing executives of the benefits agencies derive from Real Time and have these executives actively encourage agencies to adopt Real Time during agency visits. These executives should encourage agencies to take advantage of the real-time training opportunities the carrier offers. Carrier representatives also should know how to contact the vendor to get immediate help for the agency while the carrier representative is on site.
  8. Promote the Real-Time/Download Campaign prominently to your agents in your website, emails, electronic newsletters, trade ads, agent meetings, and other agent communications.
(See creative materials for the campaign.)
  9. Provide agencies with individual employee usage reports that show carrier website and realtime usage.
  10. Include real-time information prominently on website (including what real-time functionality is offered by type of agency system; data showing the change over time in the carrier’s numbers of real-time transactions; a link to getrealtime.org for additional real-time information; and vendor links for installation instructions and trouble shooting (or links directly to vendors); frequently encountered carrier related problems; and who to contact for carrier related problems.)
  11. Provide the Campaign with data on how your real-time usage numbers are changing over time, so that the Campaign can display useful real-time data on getrealtime.org to encourage more agency adoption.
  12. Actively participate with vendors, ACORD, user groups, associations, and the industry to continue to expand the breadth of Real Time, its speed, and its efficiency, as well as the use of ACORD standards in these transactions.
