- Provide your agents with real-time functionality and
continue to expand the transactions, lines of business,
and carriers where you offer Real Time.
- Provide your agents with regular reports on your new
real-time transactions by carrier. Keep ACTtech.org and
ACORD’s OARS database up-to-date with your new
real-time functionality and your ACORD XML standards
implementations and certifications.
- Continuously review your real-time implementations to
increase their speed, eliminate data entry, and
streamline the workflow, so that agents get an improved
experience compared to carrier websites. Meet at regular
intervals with the specific carriers and user groups to
discuss results and ways the overall agent experience
with the real-time implementation can be improved.
- Provide agencies with real-time implementation
sessions and in-house agency training. Partner with
carriers to provide real-time training and provide
carrier reps with immediate support when they are on
site with an agency.
- Provide agencies with quick and knowledgeable
trouble-shooting support.
- Provide agencies with individual employee real-time
usage reports.
- Provide carriers with agency reports that indicate the
system an agency is on, whether the agency is configured
for real-time, whether the agency is an active user of
Real Time with other carriers for particular types of
inquiries and transactions, and the carrier website ids
for individual users. Also provide the version of the
system the agency is on, if possible.
- Provide the Campaign with data on how your real-time
usage numbers are changing over time, so that the
Campaign can display useful real-time data on
getrealtime.org to encourage more agency adoption.
- Promote the Real-Time/Download Campaign prominently to
your agents on your website, emails, electronic
newsletters, trade ads, agent meetings, and other agent
communications.
(See creative
materials for the campaign.)
- Include real-time information prominently on website
(including installation instructions, frequently
encountered problems, directions to obtain prompt help;
carrier real-time implementation lists, data showing the
change over time in the vendor’s numbers of real-time
transactions; links to user group real-time information
and to additional industry information at
getrealtime.org.)
- Actively participate with carriers, user groups, ACORD,
associations, and the industry to continue to expand the
breadth of Real Time, its speed, and its efficiency, as
well as the use of ACORD standards in these
transactions.
